ABOUT WARATAH
It was always meant to be…
Even back in high school I did my year 12 project on the psychology of romantic love. It’s forever been an interest that took a few swings and round about’s to bring me back to my life’s purpose…
My idea was to complete year 12 and go on to study psychology….as can often be the case for teens trying to make sense of their childhood.
However, there were other plans that unfolded and through a need to understand more about this countries First Nations peoples I embarked upon an Under Graduate, BA in Aboriginal Studies…..I could say that I never directly used this for work purposes but even the opening of my mind and a curiosity that there is always more to know and understand would forever underpin my work.
Then everything changed…
Having become aware that there is so much more to this life…
01.
I WENT ON A QUEST TO DISCOVER WHAT MORE MIGHT BE POSSIBLE…..
I found myself a nook in the world, chopping wood and carrying water. During this time I dove into various healing modalities to process, integrate and better understand the impact of my upbringing. It was also a time of delving into studies in Taoism, the beginnings of my journey with Tantra, and the building of, what have become lifelong practices of yoga and meditation.
02.
DURING THIS TIME I BIRTHED MY DARLING DAUGHTER….
And for the next 15 years traversed a many layered relationship……. I studied and then taught yoga, and pursued a Certificate in Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consulting. It was then that I knew that I would be working within some form of healing. Recognising that counselling skills would always be necessary I embarked on a MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Alongside all of this I was homeschooling my daughter and started up a fashion label which ran for 7 years……..And then the idea of Sex Therapy dropped …….
03.
AND THE REST JUST ROLLED….
I completed a MA in Sexual Health and Tantra Teacher Training…..and began delivering one on one consultations, workshops and more recently couples retreats…in what has become the most fulfilling, honouring and deeply aligned work/life purposes I could have ever imagined.
..... "why hadn't I thought of this before"....I knew I had finally landed on my life purpose....

ARE YOU READY?
Let’s start the conversation….
The hardest place is to begin…which you’ve already done if you are here…..When you become aware that there is an issue or problem and have begun the process to finding a solution….you’ve already done the hardest work…….
The easiest place to begin is now…. Once we are aware of the problem and have come this far….we have two options….one will keep us stuck…knowing that there is something that needs to change …..and the other is to engage with support to move forward into a different possibility.
